dg David Grey, Ret., a graduate of Clark University and Fordham University School of Law, is the firm's senior partner.  He has over three decades of experience in workers' compensation and has represented thousands of clients at compensation hearings. He has published a number of articles in the field and has lectured on the subject of workers' compensation to unions, attorneys, and health care providers.
rg Robert Grey is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University, B.A. 1987 and St. John's University School of Law, J.D. 1990.  He is presently the managing partner of Grey & Grey, L.L.P., which represents workers in the areas of workers’ compensation, Social Security Disability, Long Term Disability, and other matters involving injury and disability.  The firm has offices in Manhattan, Queens, Nassau and Suffolk.

Mr. Grey has represented thousands of clients before the Workers' Compensation Board, tried cases in State and Federal Court, and prosecuted appeals in State and Federal courts including the New York State Court of Appeals.  He has also been involved in drafting legislation to provide workers’ compensation and pension benefits for World Trade Center rescue, recovery and clean-up workers. 

He is a member of numerous bar associations, and has appeared as a lecturer for all of them, as well as for many unions and for the New York Committee for Occupational Safety and Health, where he serves as Treasurer.  He is also the Outreach Committee Chair of the Mt. Sinai – Irving J. Selikoff Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine Advisory Board (which named him the 2008 Man of the Year), an adjunct professor at the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations, a technical advisory for District Council 37 on the New York State September 11th Worker Protection Task Force, and a member of the Board of the Workers’ Compensation Alliance.

Robert has written numerous articles on workers’ compensation issues which have appeared in legal journals, the New York Law Journal, and the New York Times.  In 2008 he was the honoree of the Transport Workers Union Local 100 Widows & Orphans Fund.

bo Brian P. O’Keefe, a partner in the firm, is a graduate of Boston College (1991) and Fordham University School of Law (1994).  He has been with the firm since 1994, practicing primarily in the workers’ compensation department.  He currently serves as the President of the Chaminade Lawyers Alumni Association and as the vice president of the Brehon Law Society of Nassau County.  He has served as the president of the Brehon Society of Suffolk County and as the chair of the Workers’ Compensation Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association.  He has lectured in Continuing Legal Education programs for the Nassau County Bar Association, the Brooklyn Bar Association, and the Suffolk County Bar Association in topics relating to workers’ compensation and conflict resolution.  
   
kp Kevin M. Plante, a partner in the firm, is a graduate of Fordham University (1988) and the Fordham University School of Law (1991), has practiced in the workers’ compensation field since 1991.  He joined the firm in 2004 and practices before the Workers’ Compensation Board on daily basis.
dd Daniel A. Dutton, a partner in the firm, is a graduate of Holy Cross College (1994) and the University of Michigan School of Law (1997).  He joined the firm in 1997, and has practiced in both the workers’ compensation and personal injury departments.
ag Alissa Gardos, a partner in the firm, graduate of Binghamton University (1993) and Brooklyn Law School (1996); has practiced in Workers’ Compensation since 1996; joined the firm in 2005 and practices in the firm’s Workers' Compensation Department.
ef Elliot M. Feit is a graduate of City University of New York (1963) and Brooklyn Law School (1966), and has a Master of Laws from NYU (1969).  He joined the firm as counsel in 2000 and has practiced before the Workers’ Compensation Board since 1969.  He has served as Chairman of the Workers' Compensation Committee with various Bar Associations and was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Committee to recodify the Workers' Compensation Law.  He has also lectured extensively on the Workers' Compensation Law.
fc Frank J. Culhane, a graduate of New York University (1984) and New York Law School (1989), joined the firm in 2001, and practices in the firm’s workers’ compensation and personal injury departments.
sk Sherman B. Kerner, a partner in the firm and a graduate of Queens College (1977) and University of Buffalo (1980), has over 25 years of experience in litigating personal injury claims.  He joined the firm in 2002 and currently manages the firm’s personal injury litigation of cases in New York City. 
re Ronald L. Epstein, a graduate of SUNY at Buffalo (1979) and SUNY at Buffalo School of Law (1982), he is a former attorney and judge for the NYS Workers’ Compensation Board, and has appeared in administrative proceedings as well as Federal and State courts for over 25 years. He joined the firm in 2004 and is currently responsible for the Social Security, Pension and Long Term Disability Department.
pt Peter Tufo, a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (1990) and St. Johns University School of Law (1999), formerly represented federal employees with workers' compensation and disability retirement claims.  He joined the firm in 2004 and currently practices in the firm’s Social Security Disability, workers' compensation and personal injury departments.
ss Sasha Shafeek, a graduate of Hofstra University (2000) and St. John’s University School of Law (2004), has over 5 years of plaintiff’s personal injury experience.  She joined the firm in 2008 and currently practices personal injury litigation of cases in Bronx, Kings, New York and Richmond counties. 
sr Steven Rhodes is a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany (1991) and Hofstra University School of Law (1994).  Steve is the former Deputy Bureau Chief of the Nassau County Attorney’s Bureau of Tort and Civil Rights Litigation, and is responsible for the firm’s Long Island personal injury matters.  In addition to his legal work, Steve is an Ex-Captain in the Wantagh Volunteer Fire Department, where he has served since 1992, and is presently the Secretary of the Open Space and Parks Advisory Committee to the Nassau County Legislature.
mc Meigan F. Cooper, a graduate of Molloy College (1984) and Villanova University School of Law (1993), is an attorney admitted to practice law in the State of Pennsylvania.  She joined the firm in 2003 and practices in the firm’s Social Security Disability department, which includes appearing at hearings before the Social Security Administration.
  William C. Mahlan, Jr., a graduate of Georgetown University and St. John’s University School of Law, is a former prosecutor in Nassau County. He has 20 years of personal injury experience, and is responsible for the firm’s Queens County personal injury matters.
 

Christa Collins is a graduate of Brown University (1994) and the Villanova University School of Law (1997) and has practiced in the workers’ compensation field since 1998.  She joined the firm in 2011 and practices in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation department.
