Maribel Gomez
Maribel Gomez grew up in Queens, New York, and graduated from St. John’s University in 1996 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Following her undergraduate studies, Maribel dedicated 18 years to honing her expertise as a plaintiff's personal injury litigation paralegal while raising her family. In 2014, she pursued her lifelong dream of becoming an attorney and enrolled in the evening program at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, successfully completing her J.D. in 2017. She is currently an associate and trial attorney at Grey & Grey, L.L.P., in the same Personal Injury division where she had once been a paralegal. ​
Maribel is an active member of the legal community, holding memberships in the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association, where she currently serves as President, and the Suffolk County Bar Association, where she contributes to the Membership Services Committee. Her dedication to the Hispanic community is evident through her various roles within the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association, where she has organized outreach programs and advocated for Hispanic organizations at every level of government.
​Recognized for her leadership and dedication, Maribel has received numerous awards and accolades, including for her work with the Nassau County District Attorney’s Youth Court program in Hempstead, the Excellence in Trial Advocacy Award and the honor of being the Keynote speaker at the 2024 Hispanic Heritage Celebration for the Suffolk County Courts.

She is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Maribel presently resides in Commack with her husband and two children.
