Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire Memorial

Robert Grey, managing partner at Grey & Grey, LLP and President of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire Memorial hosted the return of the of the Dinner on March 30, 2023. This was the eighteenth memorial dinner honoring individuals for their service and efforts in promoting workplace safety. This year’s honorees were Charlene Obenauer, Executive Director of the New York Committee for Occupational Safety & Health, Janella T. Hinds, Secretary-Treasurer, New York City Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO and Elizabeth Weiner on behalf of Heriberto “Ed” Vargas, Labor Leader and coordinator of the annual ceremony honoring the victims of the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire at the Greenwich Village building site. The scholarship recipient this year was Alexandra Bryer who is attending Touro Law School and a multiple year recipient of the award.
